Roy and I met at wrestling practice in the fall of 1972. We were on the University of Delaware team. He needed a roommate and I needed housing for the spring semester so we got together. We’ve been friends since then. In 1996 Roy was on the New Jersey State Police TEAMS unit, their tactical team. On January 19th he was shot while on a special assignment in Camden, New Jersey.
