A message from “La-Reishia” (KabulSIVVerification@state.gov) at the Afghanistan Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) Unit / LMJ told me that a person seeking US Visa needs a verification. He is one of three individuals that I’m helping. One is an interpreter, and the other is a woman who worked in the office of the Afghan President.

On October 8, 2021 I received an email from this Afghan National seeking a US Visa. He worked at one of the Forward Operating Bases building our Persistent Threat Detection System.

In the first one, I referred to what he did in our program. The site lead, James Michael Paris, would be a better one to vouch for the Afghan national’s participation in the program. The FOB Commander is a US Army Captain, James E Chapman. He could also say that the Afghan National worked for the Army.

I’ve not gotten through to Captain Chapman.

Mr. Paris could contact La-Reishia All the preliminary work for the Afghan National’s paperwork has been completed. Mr. Paris’ help could be very significant to the Afghan family. He has three children.
